| Ein Kammerorchester will eine Friedensbotschaft überbringen: die Sprache der Musik ist universell; man kann zusammen spielen und zusammenleben, auch wenn man verschiedenen, sich bekriegenden Nationalitäten (Ethnien, Sprachen, Religionen, Kulturen) angehört.
Die Botschaft, die der Film vermitteln will, ist eine universelle: man muss an seine eigenen Träume glauben, egal, ob man sie je verwirklichen wird, man muss es wenigstens versuchen.
The “Caucasian Chamber Orchestra†and his German-Georgian conductor Uwe Berkemer want to show that it is indeed possible to live and work together, side by side, even among people from different religions, cultures and ethnic origins. In 2007, the orchestra, which was created a few years back in Tbilisi (Georgia), had an ambitious objective: a peace tour through the Caucasus. At the conclusion, the musicians wanted to cap this experience with a dream: a concert in Grozny. This documentary will show the genesis of this project and backstage events, as well as the joys and pains of a musical project whose notes will resound in the mountains of the Caucasus, for centuries the theatre of wars, massacres and interethnic tensions.

Un orchestre de chambre dont les musiciens viennent de différentes républiques du Caucase et leur chef d'orchestre ont un rêve: partir en tournée dans cette région tourmentée et prouver qu'une cohabitation pacifique est possible.
